Bright, beautiful basement suite on a quiet street backing onto farmland. Separate entrance and living space. The quiet rural experience with all of the conveniences. Sleeps 4 in the 1-bedroom configuration (pullout bed in the living room); there is a 2nd bedroom available for a fee. 20 min from the mountains. Local artisan restaurants, microbreweries, micro-distilleries, chocolatiers, etc. Hiking, fishing, bicycling, golfing, exploring, OHV, or relaxing in the suite or at the river.

The Space
We are blessed with beauty and unique novelty in our area. Eau Claire Distillery boasts world-class gin and vodka (#2 in North America), Longview Steakhouse is run by chefs who trained in Europe (book well in advance!), a local microbrewery which has live music and outdoor seating areas, a local chocolatier, a vintage soda jerk, Chuckwagon Cafe which was featured on 'You Gotta Eat Here' and raises their own meat, and so much more! It is not uncommon for local ranchers or distant vacationers to arrive in their helicopters. Some of the most scenic drives in all of Alberta (Hwy 40 West of Longview, or straight West of Turner Valley to Blue Rock and back, or Hwy 532 to the Forestry Trunk Road for unforgettable views). Lots of geocaching around and many more attractions! In-floor heat, professional soundproofing.
Guest Access
You will have full access to your private space. Depending on the circumstance, we may be able to share the backyard/back deck.

We will be available if needed but will respect your privacy.
The Neighborhood
Quiet, established neighborhood. Most of our neighbors are retirees and very friendly.
Getting Around
Lots of parking available, but no public transportation. There is a local store that rents e-bikes and other recreational items.
House Rules
We live on a very quiet street and have awesome neighbors - and we would like to keep our good relationship with our neighbors. We do have other children on the street, and your kids are welcome to 'just be kids' while playing outside!
